We’re excited to announce that Joe Triolo has been inducted into the NY WSO Hall of Fame as a Significant Contributor!
Joe Triolo is a distinguished figure in the weightlifting community. For many years, he served the Metropolitan LWC (now NY WSO), and has been a veteran Technical Official within USA Weightlifting and the International Weightlifting Federation for decades. He is also a longtime member of the Pan American Weightlifting Federation Technical Committee. In addition to officiating at the highest levels, Joe has coached countless athletes to success on the competition platform and mentored many individuals as they advanced through the Technical Official ranks. His contributions to weightlifting are vast, and we are grateful to have him as a valued member of our community.
A Significant Contributor is one who throughout many decades has been an example of a high standard of excellence, integrity and leadership that coaches and technical officials should strive to achieve. It's someone who has a willingness to share knowledge and donate their time in the gym or at local, national, and international events to benefit countless athletes in the pursuit of their dreams on the biggest competition platforms. The wisdom this person has passed on has produced high performance not only in the sport, but in life as well.
